I tried something new this past week.
I put my workout plan in the drawer and decided to wing it. If I felt like running, I ran. If I felt like lifting weights, I lifted. If I felt like taking a 2 hour walk around my neighborhood while listening to classical music, I did just that (I may or may not have stopped for a slice of pizza 90 minutes in).
So if you’re feel stuck in a rut, imprisoned by routine, throw your plan to the wind. Do what feels good, what feels right, what speaks to you in the moment. It could be just the change you need to snap yourself out of your funk.
