It’s 8:30 am and I’m seated at my desk. I’m wearing my brown Cole Haans, Banana Republic slacks and J. Crew button-down. I feel safe in this uniform. It projects a certain confidence. A confidence that comes with fitting in. In this uniform, at this desk, I have solidified my place in the world. I am a contributing member of society. I am someone people close to me can brag about at dinner parties. “Scott’s doing great! He works for one of the big advertising firms downtown.”
That daydream probably saved you from a nightmare life. You're clearly doing what you were meant to do — write. Good for you. Beautiful piece. Thanks for sharing, man. Awesome job.
You have taken my breath away Scott. You sure don't deserve this! Hope you are ok? Well written piece that I was glued to when I should be focusing on crushing my own stuff. There's more to life than fitting in that's for sure.
Great piece! I was waiting for what happened next. I’ve only been following for a short time, so perhaps that answer will be revealed to me as I read more of your posts.

So many thoughts and words tumbling around after reading your piece, but all I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you.
